How to reach Sunset Beach Resort
Which direction your may coming from, important is that you always make it clear that you want to go to SAN VICENTE town proper (POBLACION) and NOT Port Barton! (Because this small backpacker and party village is only a part of whole San Vicente and another road leads there. Unfortunately got some guests dropped there and had a problem to get back on track)
Puerto Princesa: From the van and bus terminal in IRAWAN (depending on traffic, up to 1 hour from the airport), only the SAVIOR VAN COMPANY (!!!) has trips several times a day (no specific time, start when enough passengers) for 400php per person. The last trip leaves between 3 and 4 pm. A private van (airport to resort service or other direction) costs 4,500 php one way and must be reserved with flight number and arrival time.
El Nido: Mostly they have a daily trip at 1pm to SAN VICENTE town proper POBLACION for 500php per person. Please ask your accommodation to contact JunEbno van company to pick you up. And please dont forget: NOT to Port Barton!!! Beside the scheduled trips you also can take anytime any transportation from the van terminal (roro-, cherry bus or van) down south until ITABIAK crossing/junction for around 300-400 php per person. From there it goes down to San Vicente.Take any transportation what is available there (van, tricycle, mototaxi, just ask the Flores SariSari Store to assist you).
Another option would be to arrange a private van. This would cost 5,000 php one way (from or to El Nido)
From all directions coming, only tell the driver my name and he will drop you at my place:)
When you are staying in Port Barton before then it is the best for you to take a boat! That needs only 45 to 60 min. Please ask your accommodation, the coast guard or tourist office in Port Barton to organize this for you. During high tide they can drop you at my resort, quite a beautiful way to arrive here:) The way over land (highway) is much more complicated and needs at least 2 1/2 hours! The costal "road" (partly more a trail) is recommended only for experienced drivers!

Please be informed, that here everybody (hotels, restaurants, tours, transportation, etc) depends on cash payments. And also your stay here must be paid in cash. There is no possibility to transfer money in advance or to pay via booking.com!
Because of the pandemic our airport here stopped all regular flights. Slowly they are opening up again and Sunlight Air offers the first flights. Philippine Airlines (PAL) also will offer flights soon. Please check by yourself in the internet. We are not able to do the reservations or bookings for you.

Highway up north, around 25 km after ROXAS comes ITABIAK junction (after a bridge some small stores and houses, sign board "Sunset Beach Resort, left hand side), turn left, follow the road through the mountains and down through the rice fields (never turn left or right), short after the airport the road bends 90 degrees to the right (you can see the ocean already in front of you) and around 200 m I am on the left hand side:) SAFE TRIP!
El Nido - San Vicente Poblacion (around 2 - 2.5 hours)
Highway down south, around 47 km after TAYTAY comes ITABIAK junction (2nd junction, DON'T take the 1st: Alimanguan! NO!), (small stores and houses, sign board "Sunset Beach Resort on the right hand side), turn right, follow the road through the mountains and down through the rice fields (never turn left or right), short after the airport the road bends 90 degrees to the right (you can see the ocean already in front of you) and around 200 m I am on the left hand side:) SAFE TRIP!
